Mushrooms are not only the oldest Kingdom on planet earth, giving rise to dirt, but also the oldest of the natural earth-based spiritual sacraments or manna for human beings seeking enlightenment and ecstatic states. Today there is a resurgence being felt across the world as the sacred mushrooms call us back to old ways and the spiritual exploration techniques of our ancestors. Mushrooms are powerful entheogens that can be used for healing. Our nervous systems respond to these mushrooms in very holistic ways, returning us to homeostasis, authenticity and spiritual communion with Mother Earth. Universal Ministry of Transcendence is a non-dogmatic, non-denominational Nature-Based 508C1A based in healing through reconnection with self, community and nature, - utilizing sacred plants and fungi as our sacraments. We are fortified in our personal and community healing by consuming mushroom sacraments our own in microdose and well-supported, ceremonial macro-dose.
Gabi is a Priestess and Mushroom Medicine woman based in Palmer, AK. She and her husband Dennis are dedicated stewards and foragers of sacred fungi, both through their public facing herbal and fungal apothecary Chai Medicinals and the non-dogmatic, non-denominational, nature-based Universal Ministry of Transcendence, which they minister together. Gabi has been growing and consuming mushrooms in ceremony for almost 20 years and dedicates her life to holding space for others on their own personal journeys to self-trust through a return to nature. Gabi's sacred fungal education is a blend of travel, study and hands-on ethno-botanical training and sacred ceremony in ecstatic states. Gabis journey has taken her throughout the Americas to find connections with human shamanic teachers, the plants and fungi themselves as master guides. Gabi has a BA from University of Vermont in Spanish / Latin American Studies. Gabi is passionate about the ceremonial consumption of sacred fungi in tribute to the habitats they hail from. Song, Sound and Rhythm drive the space she holds for mushrooms and the ministry.
